Though laser printers struggle to match the photographic quality of even a mid-range inkjet printer, care must be exercised in the selection of paper. It is best to select paper advertised for color laser printers for general purpose and rough-proofing in the 90-160 g/m2 range. For more exacting work, such as final copes of photographic reproductions, good quality papers and board can be used.
